Timothy H. Flaherty, 66 of Peru, died peacefully and surrounded by his family at home on August 26, 2015.
Tim was born in Spring Valley on November 10, 1948 to Martin and Audrey (Walgenbach) Flaherty. He married Carol Maurice on February 7, 1987. He worked at Burn’s Machine in Ottawa as a machinist.
Tim is survived by his wife Carol of Peru; one daughter Andrea (Travis) Cox of Utica; three sons, Brett Flaherty of Corona del Mar, CA., Daniel (Angela)Webb of Mesa Verde, CA. and Preston Flaherty of Peru; four grandchildren, Andrew, Kaleigh, Morgan and Addisyn; one great-grandson Cameron; seven brothers and sisters, Jim Flaherty of Bradenton ,FL., Kurt Flaherty of Springfield ,IL, Gregg (Sue) Flaherty of Peru, Eileen (John) Jasper of Alvin, TX., Dan Flaherty of Cedar Park, TX., Sean (Bridget) Flaherty of Midlothian, TX. and Tom Flaherty of Irving, TX; Many aunts,uncles,cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister in infancy Mary Audrey.
