Timothy Gene Lyon, 52 of Mallard died Monday October 31, 2011 at the home of his parents in Mallard. Tim Lyon, the son of Kenneth and Dorothy (Stafford) Lyon was born January 3, 1959 in Emmetsburg, Iowa. He was raised and received his education in Mallard, graduating from the Mallard High School in 1977. Tim lived and worked in Texas, Arizona and Oregon before relocating to Iowa in 1994. He had most recently worked as a heavy equipment operator at Iowa Lakes Regional Water in Spencer. Survivors include his parents, Kenneth and Dorothy Lyon of Mallard, IA, and brothers Terry(Tracy) Lyon of Mallard, IA and Ted(Misty)Lyon of Conesville, IA. Tim was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Mallard where he was baptized and confirmed. He was preceded in death by his sister Kathy Behrens in 1994.
