Timothy Roland, 82, of Bulverde, Texas, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 after a brief battle with lung cancer.
Timothy Francis Roland was born in 1938 in Detroit, Michigan to Alfred and Estelle Roland. He served in the US Army for two years. Timothy has been a resident of Texas for more than 40 years. He worked hard, and always kept busy with projects around the house. Anyone who knew Tim knew his unfiltered sense of humor… sometimes a little too honest, but always with a good heart. He loved Big Band and Frank Sinatra music, and he loved his family and dogs. Tim was a generous and kind man with strong Catholic values who loved to “putz” around the house.
Timothy is survived by his beloved wife, Sumi Roland; his children, Tracey Wamboldt, Tim Roland, Tami Byrd, Tom Roland, DeAnn Wood, and Angie Cullen; his brother, A. Paul Roland; his sisters, Faith Davis, Carol Godfrey, Joan Wolfert, Hilary DePolo; thirteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
