Timothy E. Stephens, 75, of Springfield Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 3, 2022 while in the care of St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Loretta (Wessner) Stephens. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Homer and Kathleen Stephens and step son of Phyllis Stephens. Tim honorably served his country in the United States Marine’s during the Vietnam War. He served as Lieutenant for the Bethlehem Police Department from 1968 to 1995, and then as the Chief of Police for the Fountain Hill Police Department. Tim was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Bethlehem Twp. where he was an elder and he also was a Chaplain for the Bethlehem Police Department. He was a member of the former VFW Post #75, Macungie and enjoyed volunteering for the Bethlehem Mounted Patrol. Tim enjoyed leatherwork, traveling and going on vacations.
Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Tara and many loving friends.
