Timothy Dorsett was born December 11, 1975, to Gwendolyn “Faye” Dorsett and the late James Ralph Spruiell. Tim was preceded in death by his baby daughter, Ja’Niya Tylnn Hill, his father James Ralph Spruiell; two brothers Derrick Lynn Spruiell, Jake “Head” Spruiell; grandparents Lida Chesney Dorsett, Artena Spruiell, and Jack Spruiell.
Tim was a loving father, friend, brother, uncle, and co-worker. Tim loved sports. He was a Tarheels and LA Rams football fan. He was also an Atlanta Braves fan. He loved cooking on the grill with family and friends. Tim loved playing spades and cornhole. He was employed at Cloverleaf as a supervisor. He loved his job and co-workers.
Tim leaves to cherish his loving memories is a daughter La’Jireah Hill, long-time companion Helen “Pamela” Hill. A grandfather, Everett Dorsett of Sanford, NC. Two sisters; Janel Dorsett, Jackie Royal (Jay). Three brothers; Jeffrey Dorsett (Tonya) of Broadway, NC; James “Junior” Spruiell (Shantell) of Durham NC, Kevin Bland (Melanie) of San Antonio, TX. One uncle David Dorsett (Darlene). Two aunts; Phyllis Dorsett and Marcia Neal (Ronald). His close friends Keith Hackney, Derrick Hooker, Wendell Hill, Dwight Foushee, Casa Lindsey, Scott Foushee, Jason Cross, Larry Rogers, Chris McLean, Dwight Jones, Kendrick Gunter, and Brandon McClurkin. A man who he looked up to as his uncle, James Hill aka “40 Dog”. A host of nieces and nephews who love him dearly.
