Galarno, Timothy A. “Tim” of Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved husband, son, brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at St. Mary’s of Michigan. He was 61 years old. Timothy Albert Galarno was born on May 21, 1956 in Saginaw, Michigan to Francis Paul and Rosalie Ann (Dupuis) Galarno. He was a 1974 graduate of Carrollton High School. Tim was a hard and diligent worker. He proudly put himself through both Delta College and the University of Michigan, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He married Annette Marie Menard on May 22, 1993 in Saginaw; she survives him. Tim was employed with B & P Process Equipment working in Accounting and Shipping and Receiving for over 10 years. He was a member of the Saginaw Field and Stream and an Eagle Scout. Tim was a 4th degree knight with the Knights of Columbus Council #593. He and his wife enjoyed going to the Saginaw Children’s Zoo at Celebration Square and were longtime members. Tim was of the Catholic Faith. In his spare time he enjoyed playing softball, fishing and he was an avid University of Michigan fan. He will forever be remembered for the energy and enthusiasm he had for his nieces and nephews, his love and devotion to his family and for the incredible kindness he had to all.

Surviving are his wife of 24 years, Annette Marie Galarno of Saginaw; mother, Rose Galarno of Prescott; two sisters and three brothers: Mary Galarno of Saginaw, James Galarno of St. Charles, John (Paula) Galarno of Carrollton, Bernadette Guida of Florida, Frank Galarno of Saginaw; mother-in-law, Marlene Menard of Saginaw; four brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law: Greg (Lori) Menard, Chris (Don) McCann, Val (Tom) Bolger, Joe (Mary) Menard, Louie (Patti) Menard, and Tom Menard; and two Godsons: Tony Galarno and Jared Menard. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Francis Paul Galarno; father-in-law, Louis Menard, Jr.; two nephews: Matthew Galarno and Louis Menard IV; brother-in-law, Steve Guida; and sister-in-law, Bobbi Galarno.
