Tildon L. ”Tillie” Wilson Dobbins, 87, Monticello, died June 3, 2005 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, Somerset, Kentucky after an extended illness.
She was born October 15, 1917 in Overton County, Tennessee, and lived in Anderson most of her life.
She worked at Guide Lamp Delco Remy Division of General Motors. She also worked at New Haven Nursing Home as a Nurses Aid.
She managed a booth at E. 23rd Flea Market for 10 years in Anderson and 5 years in Monticello, Kentucky, retiring in August 2001 due to ill health. She was member of the Ricky Van Shelton Fan Club.
She is survived by her daughters, JoAnn Bostic of Jacksonville, Arkansas, & Janice Schulte of Pendleton, Indiana. Sisters, Geneva Gentry of Bradenton, Florida, Anna husband George Looper of Anderson, Indiana, Maxine husband Wayne James of Bradenton, Florida. Brother Donald wife Lue Wilson of Monticello, Indiana. 4 Grandchildren: Karla husband Robert Elliott, Karen husband Michael Mays, Karol Moreland, & David Schulte. 8 Great Grandchildren & 5 Great Great Grandchildren. Several Nieces & Nephews. She was preceded by her Spouse: Elmer Carl Dobbins February 8, 1995 Son: Billy Joe Flanigan, Daughter: Barbara Jean Connor. Parents: Bennie & Martha Copeland Wilson. Sisters: Leva Taylor & Elsie Carmack. Brothers: Bennie D. Wilson & Charles Dallas Wilson.
