He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Sue (Dean) Berry; father and stepmother, Thurbert P. (Betty) Hall, Sr.; sisters, Carolyn Sturkie, Flora Hall, and Vada Johns; brother, David Hall; nephew, Robert T. Sorrell, Jr.
