Thorsten “Thor” Sven Dixon, 47, passed away Wednesday, November 6th at Hartford Hospital surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with liver and kidney failure. He grew up in Newington and lived in Florida, Windsor and East Hartford. Thor leaves his mother, Christa (Hochdorfer) Dixon, and her partner, Jim McLeod; two daughters, Taylor Dixon and Rachel Dixon; his fiancee, Heidi Marcoux; his sister, Christina Muller (Germany); his brother, Eric Dixon (Florida) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Bettina Dixon and his father, Russell Dixon. He will be sorely missed by all.
