Thomas William Ming was born December 16th 1960, in Norwalk, California to George William Ming
and Joy Mae Creel. He was the oldest of 4 children.
Tom passed away after a long and lengthy illness on March 23, 2022, at home with his family.
Tom was a warrior and a fighter until the very end. Even though he was taken from us too soon, he sure
lived life to the fullest and no doubt did things “his way”.
Tom will always be remembered for being outdoorsy, the life of the party and his love for life.
He loved music & dancing, fishing, hunting, hanging out at Seckel Park with his friends and playing
horseshoes. Let’s not forget his love for sports. He was a huge Raiders and Dodgers fan!! (Go Raiders)
he would always say.
Tom never met a stranger. He had the biggest heart. He would give you the shirt off his back or
his last dime to help anyone out. He didn’t care if you were homeless or rich, it made no difference to
him. That was just Tom. He never had a bad thing to say about anyone. He just wanted everyone to get
along and be happy.
Tom would get so excited to head up to the casino to play slots with his brothers. He loved
telling stories, making jokes, but above all, the love for his mother, wife, children, grandchildren, sister
and brothers was his biggest pride and joy.
Tom, we love you and you took a piece of our hearts when you left us, but we know you are not
alone. Until we see each other again, “Go fly high up on that mountain.”
Tom is survived by his lovely wife of 30 years, Melody Ming, beautiful mother, Joy (Robert) Campos, sister, Teresa Ming, brothers, Travis Ming, Troy (Julia) Ming, stepbrother, Robbie Campos,
children, Michelle (Omar) Lopez, Jason (Meagan) Ming, Brandon Davis, Amber (Thomas) Segovia, Colton
Blackburn, 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
He is preceded in death by his Father George William Ming, Grandmother Ethel Cooper, Son
Johnny Winkler as well as many others that greeted him at the gates of Heaven.
We love you Tom. Precious memories forever in our hearts!!!
