Thomas William McNamara, of Cromwell, loving husband of Catherine (Murray) McNamara for 65 years, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2016. Born in New London, CT on February 19, 1928, Tom was the son of the late Thomas P. and Margaret (Murphy) McNamara. Tom attended Bulkeley High School where he played basketball and baseball. He also played softball sponsored by Fi Mos. These were the best of times and the best of men. Tom enlisted in the U.S. Army and after discharge, enrolled in Bryant University.
