Thomas Willard Rausch, 91 passed away on Tuesday the 9 August 2022 at his home in Washington Terrace, UT.

He was born 10 May 1931 in Peterson, IA, to parents Malinda Boese and Roy Rausch Sr.  He is the 4th of 7 children.  He grew up in Iowa. He joined the US Navy in Grand Rapids, MN. He had a 21-year naval career. He met Beverly LaVon Ikola on a blind date, and they were married the 10 Nov 1951 in Reno, NV.  They were blessed with three boys, Michael, Steven, and Dennis. They made their home in San Diego, CA where he worked in the NASSCO shipyard and part time with Sears.  Tom and Beverly were sealed in the Los Angeles Temple for time and all eternity on 27 July 1974.  He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints and held many church positions including Bishop, Stake Clerk, and High Priest Group Leader. 

In 1992 Tom and Beverly moved to Roy, UT. He loved, loved, loved to fish and there were many lakes and streams in Utah where he was able to fish. He enjoyed his regular trips back to Minnesota to visit family.  He enjoyed his callings in the church and worked hours and hours on family history.

He was preceded in death by his wife Beverly in 2006 and his son Dennis in 2001, his parents in 1975, his siblings Roy in 1970, Valentina Alcorn in 2019, Darrel in 2015, Wendell in 2014 and Judy Petitt in 2002.

He is survived by his sister Dixie Decker of MN, sons Michael (Janice) of UT, Steve (Sue) of UT, daughter-in-law Joy of UT, 11 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
