ROUGEMONT- Mr. Thomas Wayne Baker Sr., 69, passed away Friday November 2, . Baker was born January 1, 1949 in Durham, NC, to Thomas and Olie Goins Baker. He loved his family deeply, especially his grandchildren and his LOVING pet companion Roxie. Mr. Baker loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a member of the Top Dog Hunting Club. Mr. Baker retired from the American Tobacco Company and attended West Durham Pentecostal . Baker was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Olie Goins Baker; brothers, Charles Lee Baker and Phillip Stanley . Baker is survived by his wife of 50 years, Diane Baker; son, Thomas Wayne Baker, Jr. (Laura) of Rougemont; daughter, Angela “Angie” Spruill (Eddie) of Rougemont; grandchildren, Timothy Baker (Christa) of Rougemont, Justin Baker (Kaci) of Hillsborough, Ryan Baker of Rougemont, Robert Baker of Rougemont, Brittany Pritchett (Matt) of Timberlake, Brianna Spruill of Rougemont; great-grandchildren, Cayden Baker, Aubrie Baker, Johanna Baker.
