Salvey1975~2021Thomas “Tommy” Salvey, age 45 of Broomall (formerly of Overbrook), PA passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday the nineteenth of January 2021 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania from complications due to a sudden cardiac arrest a few days prior. Tommy has gone to join his grandparents Henry & Lena, his father Thomas, and his niece Alyssa. Tom is survived by Jeanette Salvey, his loving wife of twenty years, his two sons Nicholas & Danny (special friend Mia), his mother Frances, his twin brother Christopher (Lisa), his sister Kim, brother-in-law Michael (Mandy) nieces & nephews Brittany, Tyara, Christopher, Cheyne, Ian, Violet, Gabriel and suffered a lifetime of heart problems, but he never let that stop him from leading an amazing life. Some would say Tommy was trouble from day one! He was the most genuine person you would ever meet. He always told it like it was, whether you liked it or not. He was grumpy, yelled a lot (I know, I know you’re not yelling), and used some pretty colorful language. But at the same time he would give you the shirt off of his back, buy you a meal, or offer you a place to stay. He was an amazing father who helped raise two compassionate, smart and talented boys. They will most assuredly carry on his love of music and technology. He was a self taught musician who played guitar in multiple bands over the years; Copestone, Dimension 9, Abigail’s End and most recently Scars Like These. His family is moved by the outpouring of kind words about Tom from the music community he so deeply enjoyed.
