Thomas J. “Tim” Goff passed away peacefully on October 15, 2021 in his home at the age of 81 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Tim was born in Blackwell, Oklahoma, and remained an Oklahoma football fan even after moving to Englewood, Colorado and then settling in Scottsdale, Arizona in 1967 where he met his future wife and swept her off her feet.

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, he is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Lou, his sons Thomas Rocco and Anthony Joseph; grandsons, Devin, Dominick, and Drue; brother Lonnie (Deb); brothers- and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, great grandchildren, grandnephews and grandniece.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother and sister.

Tim had polio at the age of 3 which he survived in spite of expectations and foretold the fighting Irish spirit he would follow for the rest of his life.  he received treatment for his polio condition in his early teens at Shriners Hospital in Utah.

Tim worked in Ford Dealerships for several years, then he worked with his two sons in the auto wholesale business for many years.  He was well known throughout the greater Phoenix auto industry.

He will be remembered for his warm heart, his generosity, and above all his irreverent sense of humor.  He would tell stories of his youth in Englewood, Colorado, that would keep most mothers up at night.

After retirement, he enjoyed sitting in his backyard, smoking a cigar, reading a good mystery, listening to golden oldies, dreaming of once again owning a ‘40 Ford, and of course talking to his two sons, whom he loved so dearly and was so proud of, daily on the phone.

No services at his request.
