He worked at Wayne Farms in the Shipping Dept. for many years. While working there he met his devoted wife, Dorothy Ann Scott. Mr. and Mrs. Silvia worked at Wayne Farms and retired after 20+ years of service.
Thomas leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Dorothy Ann Silvia of Decatur; six step-children, Charles Wallace, Carla (Melvin)
Orr, Lisa (Jedediah) Bumpus, Denice (Lorenzo) Wallace, Derrick (Jwana) Wallace and Erica Marks all of Decatur; a devoted grandson that he raised, Kanard Wallace.
