Shomsky, Thomas Shomsky, age 85, of Bridgeport, died October 16, 2005 in Northbridge Health Care. Mr. Shomsky was born in Bridgeport and was a lifelong resident. He was a retired tool setter for Remington Arms. Mr. Shomsky was a WWII Army veteran who served in the European Theatre for three years in the Second Armored Division. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 177. Survivors include his beloved wife, Aurore Bechard Shomsky of Bridgeport, two sons, Thomas P. Shomsky of Stratford, and John G. Shomsky of Middlefield, CT one granddaughter, Maisee Shomsky of Stratford, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Joseph, Peter, George and his twin brother, John Shomsky and his sisters, Mary Hritz and Susan Goulish.
