Thomas (Tom) Ehrbar II of Boca Raton, FL passed away Monday, April 27, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife, Karen, his two children, Tom and Elizabeth and granddaughter, Ella Jane Ehrbar.
Tom served as Vice President of Investments at Raymond James & Associates for the past eight years. Prior to that he had been working in Florida as a financial advisor since 1977. Tom was a well-known supporter of several local charities, most notably serving as President of The Florence Fuller Child Development Center. During the holidays he took great joy in portraying Santa Claus, riding in on a bright red fire truck, delighting all the children at Florence Fuller.
Tom had a love of the great outdoors. From deep-sea fishing off the coast to hiking in Montana, Tom loved the grandeur of nature and the challenges it posed. It is not hard to imagine then how The Boy Scouts of America became a central part of his life.
Having seen his son go thru the scouting program, he continued on, founding Troop 356 of Boca Raton.
