Thomas “Tom” R. Weisenburger Age 57 of Owosso passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017 at McLaren in Lansing. Funeral Services will be held 11am Saturday May 27, 2017 at GracePointe Wesleyan Church with Pastor Cal Emerson officiating. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Friday May 26, 2017 from 4pm to 8pm and Saturday 10am till the time of service at Church.Tom was born October 1, 1959 in Flint, the son of Charles and Sherrill (Lawrence) Weisenburger. He graduated from Owosso High School; Class of 1978; he also attended Spring Arbor University and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources. Tom proudly served his country as a United States Marine.Tom was a member of GracePointe Wesleyan Church where he played his drums with the praise team. He married Pamela S. Horn on May 15, 1982 in Ovid, Michigan.Tom worked for the State of Michigan, unemployment division. He enjoyed being outdoors, bee keeping, riding his bicycle and deer hunting. He also loved music and playing the drums.Tom is survived by his wife Pamela; son Travis (Lori) Weisenburger; grandchildren Tyler and Payton; mother Sherrill; sisters Lynnae (Keith) Kelley and Shana Prieur; several nieces and a nephew; mother-in-law Sylvia Horn; father-in-law Loyd (Karen) Horn; and many other loving family and friends. He was predeceased by his father Charles; niece Emily Kelley; and sister-in-law Lauri Pilot.Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
