Thomas R. Null, 49, of Elkhart, died at 12:02 a.m. Saturday (Aug. 1, 2009) in Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born June 27, 1960, to Lowell D. and Mary E. (Connard) Null. On May 23, 1987, he married Elizabeth Anne “Beth” Colins in Elkhart.
She survives along with one son, Thomas R. “Tommy” Null II of Elkhart; two brothers, Lonnie Null of Peru and Chris Connard of Elkhart; and two sisters, Theresa J. Null-Stanley of Union, Mich., and Monica R. Connard of New Paris.
He was preceded in death by two siblings, Norman Null and infant Alma Connard.
Mr. Null was an aerosol line mechanic at KIK Custom Products (formerly Accra-Pac) of Elkhart for nearly 30 years until his health required early retirement. He was an electronic enthusiast who was able to build, rebuild or repair almost anything electronic from an early age.
Mr. Null enjoyed his family and pets, as well as talking on his CB under the handle “Mechanic.” He liked to listen to all types of music and had an extensive collection of recordings and LP records. He taught nature photography at Woodlawn Nature Center, Elkhart.
