Thomas R. Brothers, 72, of Vincennes, passed away Friday afternoon October 18, 2013 at 1:20 PM at the Willow Manor Nursing Center. He was born November 13, 1940 in St. Francisville, IL the son of Chester & Mildred Wolfe Brothers. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School and he served his country in the U.S. Army.
He retired as an electrician at the Good Samaritan Hospital after 29 years. He was a member of the Son’s of the American Legion, Vincennes Gun Club, NRA, VFW and attended St. Thomas Catholic Church. He enjoyed watching little league baseball, fishing and High School Athletics.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Cynthia Brothers and Christina Brothers both of Hammond, IN, and 2 grandchildren, Alicia Arnold & Tiffany Arnold, his great grandchildren, Isela Corvera & Antonio Corvera III. His brother, Kenneth Brothers, and his wife Mary Kay of Vincennes, His sisters, Shirley Waldroup, and her husband, Jim and Vickie Sue Elkins, and her husband, Patrick, both of Vincennes.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Kristopher Stately in 2011, his parents, and a brother, Joe Brothers
