Thomas Patton, 80 Brunswick Thomas A. Patton, 80, of Pinewoods Avenue, died Friday, July 6, at his residence after a long illness. A lifelong resident of Brunswick, he was son of the late Thomas and Isetta Reckner Patton and husband of Helene E. Mohl Patton. In his early years, he operated the Patton family farm with his father on Pinewoods Avenue. For the past thirty years, he owned and operated a well known excavation company. He was a member of the Mt Ida Community Baptist Church in Troy and was an active supporter of Elmwood Hill Cemetery in Troy and until his failing health devoted much time to its care. Survivors in addition to his wife include two daughters Jeanna H. Kukulka and husband Michael of Troy and Paula A. Dawson and husband James of Troy; six grandchildren Thomas, James, Joseph Dawson, Rachel Van der Linde, Cathy and Lauren Kukulka; two brothers Raymond G. Patton and Donald R. Patton of Brunswick; two sisters Lois Geiser and Carolyn Pollock of Brunswick and many nieces and nephews.
