Thomas P. Connors, age 90, of Milford and beloved husband to the late Genevieve “Gene” L. Martin Connors, passed away on February 21, 2011 at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown. Born on May 10, 1920, he was the son of the late Patrick and Bridget McPadden Connors.
Tom served with pride and honor in the U.S. Army during WWII.
Tom supported his family through his careers in the NYC Police Department and later at Manchester Community College prior to his retirement. Tom was very active in his communities, doing volunteer work in Milford on both the Library Board and State Commission on Aging and also was on the Board of Directors for Manchester.
He is survived by two sons, Martin Connors and his wife Ginny of West Hartford, Brian Connors and his wife Patricia of Glastonbury and a daughter Dierdre Marie Lesiczka and her husband Thomas of Hew Haven, seven grandchildren, Owen, Neil and Bridget Connors, Robbie Lesiczka and Adam, Cynthia and Daniel Stewart.
