Tom was born August 1, 1967 in Chicago to Thomas and Carol (Syverson) Bergen. Tom loved the beach, the mountains, the Blackhawks, the Bears, the Cubs and watching thunderstorms roll in across the fields. He will be missed.
Survivors include two daughters, Ashley Bergen and Courtney Gates; one son, Jason Bergen; his mother, Carol Bergen of Peru; his father, Tom Bergen of Charleston, SC; one sister, Mary Bergen; one brother, Mark (Suzanne) Bergen and many other relatives.
