Tom Borunda was born on December 1, 1954 in Yuma AZ. He was a proud Criminal grad from the class of 1973.
Tom joined his heavenly Father on November 1, 2022, after an unexpected illness. Tom is survived by the love of his life
Tunie, his children, Briana, Brandon and Lauren and his Mother, Natalia, brothers Pablo Jr, Tony and David. He was a
proud Tata to his baby girl Jazlynn (Jazzy), Jyo, Jarred, Roxie, Clark and Tosh.
Tom accomplished many certifications while employed with the City of Yuma for 24 years, most recently Waste Water
Systems Supervisor. He was an active member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, serving as a Eucharistic Minister, Adoration
volunteer at the St. Claire Chapel, Hospital Ministry, Cursillo Ministry and Knights of Columbus Council #1806 where he
proudly served as the Deputy Grand Knight. His purpose in life for his many blessings was to serve and thank God.
He had a passion for golfing with his friends and loved watching MLB and NFL games. But his greatest joy was traveling
and camping with his wife and holding his beautiful granddaughter “Jazzy”.
Wednesday November 9 th for the viewing at 7pm and the rosary at 8pm.
November 10 th at 12 noon, the reception lunch will follow in the Church Parish Hall.
