Mr. Thomas Lee “Tommy” McLendon, age 66, of Trussville, passed away on February 3, 2015. He was a retired paint and auto body specialist. He served in the US Marine Corp; served on the church vestry, and enjoyed helping people and doing maintenance work around the church, and loved his AA family. Mr. McLendon is preceded in death by his parents, Ann and J.W. McLendon and R.W. “Mac” McLendon; his brother, Tuck McLendon. He is survived by his wife, Elaine McLendon; his daughter, Teresa Hopkins; his sons, Roger Ridings (Julie), Dicky Combs (Dawn), Robert Combs (Melanie); his sisters, Laurie Nabors, Cissy McLendon Isaacs; his grandchildren, Blake, Lindsey, Whitney, Jessica, Brent, Brooke; his great grandchildren, Rylie, Madison, Colton; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
