Thomas Marion Lancaster, 58, of Belton. Mr. Lancaster died Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at his home. Mr. Lancaster was born August 8, 1955 in Belton, the son of Buck Asa Lancaster and Loucille (Carter) Lancaster. He was a 1973 graduate of Belton High School and he attended Temple College.
He married Mary Spurgeon December 31, 1977 in Salado. He worked for 15 years for 7-11 before purchasing his own convenience stores in Austin and two in Belton, Miller Heights Mini Mart and the Lake Stop. Mr. Lancaster was an entrepreneur, and had Tomz Wheels, an Internet automotive accessories business. He was a member of the Mid Texas Corvette Club. He enjoyed Auto Cross racing and car shows.
He was a member of the Belton Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his son, Peter Spurgeon, August 16, 2013. Survivors include his wife Mary Kathryn Lancaster of Belton, daughter Katrina Marie Lancaster of Austin and grandson Riley Baxter Warren.
