Thomas M. Harris, 60, of Jacksonville, died Friday, January 28, 2011 at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville.
He was born September 19, 1950 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of Thomas O. and Joyce Elaine Clark Harris.
He is survived by one son, Vince Harris of Kincaid, IL; three grandchildren, Vincent, II, James E. and Frances I. Harris, all of Kincaid; one brother, Steven Harris of Jacksonville; three sisters, Laurel Harris of South Jacksonville, Cheryl (husband, Bob) Chaplin of Jacksonville and Paula Harris of Springfield. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Jeanine Moczynski.
Mr. Harris was a graduate of Griggsville High School. He was employed as a truck driver for several years, retiring in 2007. He was a life member of the NRA and North American Hunting Club.
Thomas enjoyed cooking, riding his Harley-Davidson and spending time with his grandchildren.
