Thomas “Tommy” Litchfield, age 81, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021.
He was preceded in death by sons, Michael Litchfield and Johnny Cantrell; parents, Thomas and Jessie Mae Litchfield; and sister, Barbara Attaway.
Mr. Litchfield is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years, Peggy Johnson Litchfield, Lawrenceville; children, Hope (Ron) Litchfield Rau, North Augusta, SC, Tracy (Cheryl) Litchfield, Belvedere, SC, Cheryl McDaniel, Flowery Branch, GA; six grandchildren, Joey and Maddi Goldsmith, Zach Goldsmith, Nicole, and Chad Felty, Chad and Ashley Litchfield, Casey and Cassie Litchfield, Jacob Litchfield; five great-grandchildren, Gage Litchfield, Slate Litchfield, Sawyer Litchfield, Brayden Litchfield, and Emma Litchfield; brothers, George (Bobbye) Litchfield, Marietta, GA, Bill (Dianne) Litchfield, Augusta, GA, Donnie (Pat) Litchfield, Dawsonville, GA; sister-in-law, Jean Johnson Kilgore, Hoschton, GA; brothers-in-law, Douglas (Cathie) Johnson, Talking Rock, GA, and Harold Attaway, Savannah, GA.
Mr. Litchfield was born on March 20, 1939, in Savannah, GA.
He graduated from Savannah High School. Mr. Litchfield was retired from Gwinnett County Public Utilities with over twenty-seven years of service, and also served as a bailiff at the Gwinnett County court system. He was a member of Peachtree Road Baptist Church in Suwanee, GA.
