Tommy Laudani, 18, of Emmitsburg passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer.  Born August 25, 2000, in Baltimore, he was the son of Robert and Rosemary (DeMarco) Laudani.

Tommy attended Mother Seton Elementary School and was a graduate of Delone Catholic High School, Class of 2018, where he competed in track and cross country.  He was presently enrolled at Frederick Community College.  He worked at Ski Liberty in the winter and Freedom Landscaping in the summer.  His classmates affectionately referred to him as a “foodie.”  Tommy had a passion for technology, video editing in particular.  He loved sea life and took special pleasure in his various aquariums.  He also loved to travel, and during three memorable trips he was able to swim with whale sharks, swim with manatees and, thanks to the Make A Wish Foundation, snorkel among the coral reefs off the coast of Panama.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are brother, Bobby Laudani; maternal grandparents, Charles and Marie DeMarco of NY; paternal grandmother, Irene Laudani of OH; godparents, Bill and Roberta Chester of VA; several aunts and uncles; and many special cousins.  He is also remembered by his many friends and teammates.  Tommy was predeceased by paternal grandfather, Anthony Laudani.
