Tom Hill went to be with the Lord on Friday morning of June 23, 2023. He is survived by his love, Tincy Day, as well as his children; Cindy Adams, and her husband, Steve Adams; Jim Hill; Charley Hill, and his wife, Leanne Hill; grandsons, Stephan Adams, Tim Adams, and Spencer Hill; as well as his granddaughters, Elena Matthews, Annoah Matthews, and Mikayla Hill.
As a blended family, Tom is also survived by Tincy’s daughters, Debbie, Teri, Josh, her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Elizabeth; his sister, Eleanor; his ex-wife, Phyllis, and his beloved daughter, Mary Hill-Matthews.
Tom was born to Elizabeth and Tom Hill on March 31, 1929, near Estancia, New Mexico and resided throughout New Mexico and Colorado.

Tom ended up in Albuquerque, where he graduated from the University of New Mexico. After graduating college, Tom worked at Sandia National Laboratories as a Mechanical Engineer serving our country with exceptional engineering excellence for over 42 years. After retiring, Tom dedicated his life to his family, often babysitting his grandchildren, teaching art at San Antonito Elementary school, and cooking wonderful meals. He was an active bicyclist completing many 100-mile rides. Tom remained an outstanding mathematician, often being able to solve complex math problems in his head.

Tom was very charismatic and even in his later years, he could always make you feel like you were the most important person in the room. Tom also loved to listen to old country and western music, stories, and the many jokes his family shared with him.
