Thomas Alden Keiser, 89, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2017 at home in Viera, Fl.  He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ann, and their children; Kathy and husband James of Uniontown, Ohio and grandchildren Katie and Sam; Timothy and wife Sandy of Seabrook Texas; Steven and Denine and grandchildren Kolton, Kalin, and Karlin and Tom’s loving extended family; cousin Bob and wife Jean Ellis of Kansas City, Kansas.  Tom is predeceased by his brother, Marcus Keiser and parents Ira and Margaret Keiser of Leavenworth, Kansas.

Tom was a World War II, US Navy Veteran.  His Naval career was followed by his graduation from the University of Kansas and a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Akron.  Tom’s engineering career of 32 years was spent with the Timken Company in North Canton, Ohio.  During his 31 years of retirement, tom and Ann enjoyed income tax counseling for the elderly, volunteering at the Suntree-Viera Library and traveling extensively throughout the U.S. and the world.  He was master of fine woodworking on marquetry and veneer.
