Thomas Jourdan “T.J.” Morris, age 93 of Moody. Mr. Morris died Tuesday in a Temple nursing home. He was born November 10, 1916, in Willow Grove to William Jourdan and Frances Josephine (Cox) Morris. He lived in the Moody area all his life where he was active in farming and ranching. He married Helen L. Hargrove on November 6, 1937, in Willow Grove.
He was a member of the Willow Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Helen L. Morris of Moody, one son, Bill Morris and wife Dodie of Austin, 2 daughters, Jenice Morris of Willow Grove and Patsy Newman of Salado, 3 grandchildren, John Newman, Chris Morris and wife Micki and Anne Sellers and husband Tyler, 2 great grandchildren, Austin Sellers and Jewell Morris.
