Thomas John Wishart, Jr., 42, of Bristol passed away on Saturday July 17, 2010 at UCONN Health Center after a courageous battle against melanoma. At his side were many supportive family members and dedicated friends. He fought with great dignity, never complaining, always persevering with positive energy.
Tom lived in Bristol his entire life, was a valuable employee wherever he worked, most recently at The Hartford in Print Procurement. Tom always worked hard but work never defined him. He lived his life with quiet purpose centered on the people and activities he cherished most. His children and Crystal were paramount with family and friends ever present. He especially enjoyed camping with friends and their families at “the land”, playing cribbage with great partners, barbecuing on his deck, rooting for the Yankees and Giants and just experiencing the joy of life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Crystal (Kaczypenski) Wishart of Bristol, his three children, Ian Thomas, Jack Thomas and Treva Marie Wishart; his siblings, Donna Park, George Comparone, Mark Comparone, Ellen Wishart, Susan Wishart and Michael Wishart, his various sisters and brothers in-law, aunts and uncles, cousins galore and many nieces and nephews, each special and unique to him.
