Thomas (Tommy) James Steiner, age 42 of Cochran, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2021.
He was born on December 26, 1978, in Detroit, MI to Thomas Joseph Steiner and Jane Elizabeth Steiner. Thomas is preceded in death by his grandparents Gordon (Bud Daley), Mary Beverly Daley, Thomas Frances Steiner, and Mary Elizabeth Steiner. He is survived by his brothers, Joseph Leon Steiner, Matthew Gordon Steiner, and Robert Patrick Steiner; his nephew Lucas Wouter Steiner and his niece Madison Rae Steiner.
Tom worked at Bleckley Automotive in Cochran Georgia. He was an ASE Certified Master Mechanic and ACDS Qualified Hybrid Automotive Mechanic. Along with being a highly skilled auto mechanic, he was an expert at interpreting technical specifications, and being a leader and trainer of other mechanics, Tom was a strong and accurate problem solver. Tom was a faith-filled and loveable person. He increased the health and safety of those he served and was loved by his friends and family. He enjoyed listening to music almost as much as he loved making music. He was a lover of books and an avid history buff. Tom loved all sports, including the Detroit Redwings, Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Braves, and NASCAR.
