Thomas Jackson (Jack) Maddox age 83 of Mobile, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Jack served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War as an air traffic controller. He was an accounting graduate of the University of Alabama and remained a lifelong fan of the Crimson Tide. Jack practiced as a CPA with Ernst & Young and later was a partner with Lawrence & Lawrence. He enjoyed serving his church, golfing, playing the piano, and working in his yard. He was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Joyce Wilkins Maddox. Surviving him are children Jacqui Maddox Maclay, Renee (Leo) Harris, Judy Maddox, and Tommy (Paula) Maddox; nine grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
