Thomas (Tommy) Jackson Hutchens, aged 73, who resided in Covington, GA, passed quietly Saturday, September 17, 2016. He was born in Newnan, GA, on March 28, 1943, to Thomas and Alice Hutchens. For his livelihood, Tommy loved merchandising and selling.
He spent most of his life working & managing various grocery store chains from Newnan to Covington and ran his own successful snack distribution company for more than 30 years. He was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather who loved supporting his local church especially in the annual Children’s Harvest Fall Festival.
Tommy is survived by his four children: Connie (Randy) Reynolds, Ronnie (Donna)Hutchens, Donna (Sean) Page, Jane (Tommy)Carmichael. Also surviving is his sister, Alice Hutchens Bexley (Glen). There are 8 grandchildren, Tiffany, Jessica, Ali, Ashley, Daniel, Audrey, Hannah & Keanan; 7 great grandchildren; Brittany, Kaitlyn, Jacob, Madison, Kaden, Braylen and Shia.
