DAVIS – Thomas J. Davis, 83, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, May 6, 2022. He was the devoted husband of the late Nancy Rita Davis for 62 years. Born August 8, 1938 in Winsted; the son of the late Thomas and Olive (Claus) Davis. Thomas graduated from the Gilbert School and then served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a skilled Service Repairman for Sears as he was known as “Mr. Fix It.” He was a member of the Winsted Fire Department, Engine 2 on Elm Street and an EMT for many years. Thomas enjoyed traveling in his motor home and spending time with his family. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his children, Debra Wood (Tony) of Oakville, Cheryl Davis-DeAndrade (Lester) of Torrington, Karen Corriveau (Randy) of Plymouth and Kristine Leonard (Stephanie) of Goshen; 5 grandchildren, Heather Stebbings, Tom Wood (Megan), Katelyn Leonard, Kylie and Devin Corriveau; 3 great grandchildren, Charlie and Sylvie Stebbings and Lily Wood; a sister, Linda Maley (Jack) of FL; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, James and Wesley Davis.
