Brother Thomas “Bubber” Howard Marsh, age 72, of Lisman, Alabama gained his heavenly wings the early morning of Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at his residence.

Thomas was born February 23, 1947, to the late Alphonso and Ethel Marsh in Lisman, Alabama.  He accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Gilfield Missionary Baptist Church.

He was a graduate of Choctaw County Training School, Lisman, Alabama in 1965, Stillman College, Tuscaloosa, Alabama and he also attended Mississippi Valley State University, Itta Bena, Mississippi.  Thomas was drafted into the United States Army for the Vietnam War.  He was employed with Georgia Pacific Corporation for many years. 

He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving and devoted wife, Janice Peoples Marsh of Lisman, Alabama; one son, Tony (Anita) Marsh of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; one daughter, Tomika Marsh of Lisman, Alabama; one granddaughter, LaVeda Marsh of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; four brothers, Lonnie (Vivian) Marsh of Cleveland, Ohio; Douglas (Earnestine) Marsh of Gilbertown, Alabama; Milton (Deborah) Marsh of Huntsville, Alabama and Rodger Marsh of Lisman, Alabama; two sisters, Alice (Phillip) Lyles of Butler, Alabama and Deborah Marsh of Lisman, Alabama; sister-in-law, Kathy Wilson of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; brother-in-law, Harvey Peoples of Lisman, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and supportive neighbors; two brothers preceded him in death, Alphonso and Julius Marsh
