Thomas Herbert Moore, 75, passed away Thursday May 28, 2015 in New Whiteland.Tom was born in Chicago, Illinois, grew up in Cedar Lake and spent the majority of his adult life as a resident of New Whiteland.
Tom was owner of Randhurst Enterprises, a vending company, for over 30 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran, former member of the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police Department, a former member and past Post Commander of the American Legion Post #276 in Beech Grove. He also was a member of the Whiteland United Methodist Church.Tom earned a Bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University in Chicago.
In his younger days, Tom enjoyed racing car and has been a longtime Indy Car and NASCAR fan.
Survivors include three children, Kimberly Moore of Centerville, Indiana, Brett (Jennifer) Moore of Huntington Woods, Michigan and Brian Moore of Oakland, California, two sisters, Carol Flashsenberger and Sandra Wagner and seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Joseph and Brooke Madden, Oliver, Hudson, Sullivan and Macallister Moore.
