Hayes, Thomas J. ( G-T Tom) Hayes , age 54, of Ansonia, died August 13, 2005 in the West Haven V.A. Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Hayes was born in Trumbull and was a longtime area resident. He was an auto part salesman for Service Auto Parts in Ansonia. He was also an army veteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors include two devoted sons, Thomas J. Hayes II and his wife, Jennifer of Naugatuck, and Christopher Hayes and his wife, Rachel of Wolcott, one devoted daughter, Tiffany Irazzary and her husband, Frank of Seymour, two brothers, Michael Hayes and his wife, Debby of Monroe and Robert Hayes of Naugatuck, one sister, Caroline Visciglia and her husband, Frank of Southbury, one sister-in-law, Jennie Hayes of Shelton, five cherished grandchildren, Marissa Hayes, Timothy Hayes, Logan Hayes, Michael Irazzary and Matthew Irazzary, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, John William Hayes and William Benedict Hayes.
