Thomas Harold Roesner 68, of New Carlisle, passed away on Thursday, November 25 at Memorial Hospital, in South Bend.  He was born in LaPorte, IN, to the later Harold, and Betty (Pfeifer) Roesner, and was a lifelong area resident.  On February 14, 2000 he married Jan Weber, who survives.   Also surviving is his son, Ryan (Ashley) Weber of New Carlisle, two grandsons Brooks, and Mac Weber, his sisters Lynn (Paul) Tobolski from New Carlisle, Dianne (Wayne) Nacke from Crete IL and Deb (Jerry) Colanese, from New Carlisle.  In addition to many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.   He was preceded in death by his son, Eric Weber in 2007.

Tom was a familiar face in New Carlisle throughout his life.  In his early years, Tom worked at his parent’s bar the RED INN located in New Carlisle. He was also a dedicated employee at the United States Postal Service for over 30 years, retiring in 2019.  Tom proudly served as a volunteer firefighter in New Carlisle for over 40 years.    He loved cooking, traveling, gardening, and being with family and friends. His biggest joy was spending time playing with his grandsons Brooks and Mac.   He had a lasting impact on the lives of so many and will be greatly missed.
