He was born March 27, 1930 in Robbins, Tennessee, and resided in Anderson, Indiana. He lived in this area since 1964.
He retired in 1990 from Guide Division of General Motors after 34 years of service. He was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Daleville.
He was an avid outdoors-man, and loved gardening, mechanics, fishing, hunting, NASCAR, basketball, church and helping neighbors and others.

Corine West of Robbins, Tennessee. Larry Latham and Lawrence Latham, both of New Castle. Lois Latham of Tennessee. Betty Boyfriend, Ken Daffron of New Castle. Grandchildren: Ryan Rankin, Kegan Ramsey, Trevor Ramsey, Austin Lee Lathan, Hunter Joseph Lathan, Mandy Barba and Chris Barba. One Great Granddaughter: Kristan Barba. Several Nieces, Nephews and extended family and friends, including best of friends: Gerald Lovegrove and Mary Ellen Wilson.
