Obituary of Thomas G. Hebbener
Hebbener, Thomas “Tom” G. of Saginaw, Michigan
Our beloved brother, uncle and friend passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Samaritas Senior Living of Saginaw. He was 77 years old. Thomas G. Hebbener was born on December 28, 1939 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Thomas F. and Anna A. (Todd) Hebbener. Tom was employed at Beyer’s Service Center for many years. He later was employed by and retired from Second National Bank, as a security guard. He loved classic cars, especially his pride and joy, his 1974 El Camino. Tom is an avid Michigan State fan. He had a passion for reading, especially spending many hours in his beloved garage, often until you could hear the crickets chirping. Tom was a very chivalrous, polite and kind man. He will forever be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, his tremendous ability to tell stories about his past, and his selflessness for taking care of others.
Surviving are his sister, Vada Johnson of Saginaw; a sister-in-law and best companion, Eiko Hebbener of Saginaw; and one nephew and two nieces: George A. Johnson, Debra Ellison, and Jennifer Johnson. Also surviving are many great and great-great nieces and nephews; and his special friends Kimberly and Darryl Eaves of Saginaw.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Gordon Hebbener; a brother-in-law, George Johnson; and a niece, June Judd. .
