Thomas Frederick Butcher, 74, of Chesaning, died Thursday, August 1, 2024, in Westfall Home after a brief time in hospice care. Tom was born in Saginaw, MI on August 3, 1949, to John and Matilda Butcher. He graduated from St. Michael Catholic High School and served in the National Guard. Tom retired from General Motors after 30 years. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and traveling with his family.He is proceeded in death by his parents. Tom is survived by his two sons, Jason (Rebecca Moen) Butcher of Duluth, MN and Corey (Joy) Butcher of Dafter, MI; granddaughter Grace and grandson Calvin of Duluth; siblings Mary (Mike) Nassif of Saginaw, Nora Drechen of Pentwater, John (Emily) Butcher of Chesaning, Norm (Deb) Butcher of Chesaning; and many nieces and nephews, family, and friends.The family would like to thank the staff at Westfall and Heart to Heart Hospice for their care for Tom.
