EDWARDS, Thomas C., 85, husband for 62 years to Peggy Henderson Edwards, passed away Fri., May 9, 2014 in Lexington, KY. Born Aug. 18, 1928, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary Edwards. He played football at Woodlawn High School and Auburn University. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp. and retired from the City of Birmingham. He attended Vine Street Presbyterian Church before moving to Corinth, Mississippi where he was a member at First Presbyterian Church. Along with his wife, he is survived by two sons, Tommy (Tanya) Edwards of Lexington and Michael Edwards; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Edwards, Erin Edwards, Ashley Edwards, and Ben Robinson; four siblings, Lois Copus, Earl Edwards, Don Edwards, and Doug Edwards; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers Frank Edwards Jr. and Jimmy Edwards.
