Thomas Edward Shubert, Jr. age 48, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 in Manassas, VA. He was born on August 19, 1968 in Arlington County, VA to Thomas Edward Shubert, Sr. and Sharon Janelle (Long) Shubert. Thomas was a 1987 Osbourn Park High School graduate. He loved his family more than anything in the world. After serving in the U.S. Navy Reserve, he worked as an auto mechanic, but his true love was auto body work where he enjoyed painting. Thomas was a very active member of Light of Life Church, in Manassas, VA and a part of their AV ministry. Predeceased by maternal grandparents: Garland and Chrystel Long: paternal grandparents: Bill and Margaret Shubert and cousin Dawn Marie Long Hart. Survivors include his parents: Thomas “Tom” Shubert, Sr. and Sharon J. Shubert of Manassas, VA; son: Thomas Shubert III (Trea) of Manassas, VA; daughter: Hope Shubert of Manassas, VA; brother: Jeffrey Shubert and wife Beth of Manassas, VA; and sister: Katherine Aguirre.
