Thomas E. Kynard, age 81, of Nortport passed away on January 26, 2021.
He is preceded in death by his father; Lee Edward Kynard, mother; Euelle Whitfield, stepfather; Edward Whitfield, and sister; Lynn Kynard.

Survivors include his wife; Edna P. Kynard, daughters; Letitia (Tish) Jackson (Sam), Michelle Montz (Rusty), son; Chris Kynard (Diana), brother; Hugh Kynard; grandchildren; Erik Montz, Christian (Allie) Montz, Lauren Kynard, Jacob Kynard, Luke Kynard, Sarah Kynard, Abby Jackson, Trey Jackson, and one great granddaughter; Blakely Montz.

Know to all as Tom, he was born in Greensboro, AL. on August 13, 1939. He married Edna Jean Patton on June 5, 1960. He was a Deacon at Macedonia Baptist Church for over 50 years. He sang all over the state with different quartets and had an abiding love for gospel music. He was a “tire man” for most of his life and was known to be “thrifty” with a dollar. He was loved and respected by friends and family and was know as a man who valued his faith and his family.
