Thomas Earl Shirley, age 74, of Beulah, Alabama passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.
Thomas was born on June 3, 1948 in Houston County, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Roe, his parents, Cecil Shirley and Myrtle Powell Shirley.
He was a graduate of the University of Alabama with a Masters Degree in art. He loved to use different mediums of art for his creations.
He incorporated his artistic abilities with pursuits such as making knives, swords, and pottery. He also enjoyed collecting guns.
Thomas was well known for his love of the Wolfdog breed of dogs. Many people referred to Tom as the “Wolf Man” in Beulah, Alabama.
He is survived by his daughters Christy Westberry (Dan), Kimberly Rinaldi (William), Pamela Wright; grandchildren, Daniel Westberry, Jr. , James Rinaldi.
