Thomas E. Zabilowski, 81, of New Haven, passed away June 12, 2011 in Grimes/St. Regis Health Care. He was the husband of Mary Lou Germanese Zabilowski. Born in New Haven on Dec. 16, 1929, he was the son of the late Edward and Stephanie Zabilowski. He worked as a draftsman in the Engineering Dept. of United Technologies until his retirement. He was a member of the Wallingford Country Club, The Annex YMA and the Elks and was an avid hunter. He served with the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Edward M. (Kim) Zabilowski of New Haven; and several nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Edward Zabilowski and a sister, Barbara Crawford.
